Did you know blood is always needed?
It is easy for you to make a difference this January by finding your local blood center and scheduling an appointment to donate during National Blood Donor Month.
Reasons to Donate:
- 31,000 pints of blood are used every day;
- Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs a blood product;
- It’s the blood already on the shelf that saves lives; and
- If all eligible individuals donated two of more times a year, blood shortages would be eliminated.
